Inspired by British Colonial aesthetics, this interior design project at Normanby is imbued with sophistication and modern sensibility.  Our clients were open to an unexpected contrast of colours, tone and pattern and the result is a series of spaces that delight and surprise. From bold wall coverings and luxurious upholstery to graphic tiling and striking floor coverings, the overall impact is one of texture and richness. A dramatic Catherine Martin wallpaper was the hero in the dining space which was complemented with a solid dining table and cane chairs, reinforcing the colonial theme. Arte textured wallpaper, with its subtle shimmer yet masculine feel, set the palette and tone for the master bedroom. Practicality and durability were also paramount in this project, taking into consideration the needs of the clients' young child, who was also involved in both the functional and aesthetic decision-making process.
